HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!

We are in the midst of a long cold winter, but you would never know it when looking at our 2010 breeders. They are having a great time playing around! I keep giving them pep talks on how many grandkids I expect them all to have. They just look at me like I have 2 heads. Anyway, I hope I will have some good news for all of you shortly. Stay tuned!!

Martha's babies started hatching on Aug 11, and finished Aug 14th. 18 of the 19 hatched out, and they are all healthy and RUNNING AROUND SPASTIC!!! I have lots of ledges and rocks for them to climb on. They all seem to have gotten the hang of those quickly.

Hello,

Martha (our "Normal" girl) laid her 2nd clutch of 19 eggs on 6/18. This is the first year we have bred her, and she is proving to be quite a good breeder. We bred her with Buddy (our "Normal" boy) who has contributed to several clutches in the past and have been quite healthy and robust. We are expecting the same with these babies. I'm expecting them to hatch the end of August. Stay tuned for further highlights.

Meanwhile, Frasier and Scarlett's babies are growing fast. They have all discovered that crickets are something to eat and not just be entertained by, and I have introduced them to small Phoenix worms, although the jury is still out on those. I have one baby that caught on right away, but the others are in no hurry. No one is interested in their veggies yet! One step at a time.

Good morning to all

Finally we have a beautiful Saturday after several rainy overcast days. It is nice to see the sun.

We have had a very exciting and busy week at Northeast. Scarlett and Frasier's first clutch began to hatch on June 16th. We now have 7 little babies eagerly exploring every crevis of their tank. A few have discovered their crickets, with the majority of them looking at them like they are aliens from another planet! I have introduced some greens the past couple of days and hope they will get the message it is good stuff to eat. They like their showers, and now know what it means to lap up the water on their noses. I will be posting pics as they begin to shed out.

Have a great day

Good Evening to all,

It's been a long cold winter here in the north, but spring has finally come, and so have our eggs! Scarlett laid her first clutch on 4/23/09 after what seemed to be a life time of digging. I was so proud of her. She laid 14 eggs, and they all look healthy and strong. I will be keeping a close eye on these little gems. If all goes as it should, her 2nd clutch should follow at about 30 days.

My website is a work in progress. I am still learning my way around updating, so please be patient. I will be adding pictures (hopefully) this weekend of all my Dragons, and several pics of them in their own environments. I feel that's just as important as the close up pictures. It gives my potential customers a feel for how we care for our dragons, and spoil them.

Stay tuned for updates

Good night

YEAH US!!! We took the plunge head on, full force into business for ourselves. I have been wanting to do this for 3 years but was very apprehensive. What if I can't do it, what if I fail, what will people think. Well.. I can do it, I won't fail, and people will be in our corner for doing this. I have some of the most supportive family and friends on earth. One of my friends, Rich, has helped me with this web site. He has been there for me at all times. He has critiqued my site (he's a photographer and I'm not), and he does not like my color choice. He says it is way to "HOT". Isn't that what Beardies like? Sorry Rich, the colors are staying for awhile.

Anyway, thank you to all my family and friends. Check back often for update pics in my gallery, breeder pages, and latest news.

By for now-Donna
